Selected aspects of administration of peculium in the classical and Justinian Roman law

The paper focuses on a critical analysis of the Roman law texts of the Digest of Justinian containing the legislation of the peculium administration, which a father of a family (pater familias), as a special property, allocated to his subordinates – son or slave to manage it. The attention is paid to introducing the different concept of the peculium administration in the classical and Justinian period of Roman law.
