In this scientific paper, the author analyzes crimes showing signs of domestic violence, emphasizing that in application practice it is often difficult to legally qualify such conduct by the offender due to the absence of the exact facts governing domestic violence. In the current legal system, we have regulated the criminal offense of torturing a close and entrusted person pursuant to Section 208 of the Criminal Code, but the above fact does not sufficiently reflect on proceedings showing signs of domestic violence from a theoretical point of view.
